Terms of Service
The basic rules for responsible use of the Pentecost Workers' Guild website, member platform, community tools, marketplace, opportunities, and administrative services.
These terms work together with the Privacy Policy.
At a glance
These terms are written for members, visitors, coordinators, and administrators who use the Guild's digital services.
Members are expected to use the platform with honesty, respect, and care for the Church community.
Marketplace listings, opportunities, messages, reports, and posts must be truthful, lawful, and appropriate.
Access to some features depends on verification, assigned roles, and official Guild administration.
By using the Pentecost Workers' Guild website or member platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any applicable Church of Pentecost, Guild, safeguarding, conduct, and administrative policies.
If you use the platform on behalf of a Church office, Guild, district, area, or committee, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and will use the platform responsibly.
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, protecting your account access, and keeping your profile and contact information reasonably current.
Access to member-only features may depend on verification, Guild assignment, official role assignment, or administrative approval. We may suspend or restrict access if information appears inaccurate, unauthorized, harmful, or inconsistent with platform requirements.
You agree to use the platform for lawful, respectful, truthful, and Church-appropriate purposes. Do not harass others, misrepresent your identity, upload harmful content, bypass access controls, scrape protected information, interfere with the service, or use the platform for fraud, abuse, spam, or unauthorized commercial activity.
Marketplace listings, opportunities, endorsements, reports, community posts, comments, messages, and profile content must be accurate, respectful, and appropriate for the Guild community.
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you allow Pentecost Workers' Guild and authorized platform operators to host, display, process, moderate, archive, and share it as needed to provide the relevant service.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, creates safety or privacy concerns, appears misleading, infringes rights, or conflicts with Church governance and platform rules.
The platform may send account, verification, security, administrative, programme, announcement, and participation-related communications. Some operational messages are required for the service to function.
Member-to-member communication tools must be used with respect. Private conversations may be restricted or investigated where required by safety, abuse-prevention, legal, or official governance needs.
Marketplace and opportunity features help members discover services, products, work, collaboration, or professional support. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Pentecost Workers' Guild does not guarantee a listing, provider, buyer, opportunity, transaction, payment, or outcome.
Members are responsible for their own due diligence, lawful dealings, professional standards, and any agreements they enter through contacts made on the platform.
Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that information may be collected, processed, stored, shared, and retained as described there.
Do not upload sensitive personal information about others unless you are authorized to do so and the information is necessary for a legitimate platform or Church purpose.
We aim to provide a reliable platform, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, errors, security issues, third-party outages, or circumstances outside our control.
Features may be changed, added, restricted, or retired as the Guild platform develops.
The platform is provided for Guild coordination, communication, and member participation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, it is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual purpose.
Pentecost Workers' Guild is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of accounts, unauthorized member actions, third-party services, external links, or independent dealings between members, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
We may update these terms as the platform, Church governance, or legal requirements change. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
